Freshly made Spinach Parmesan Crostini

While the holiday season may look a little different this year, smaller gatherings with family still call for delicious food. Afterall, eating together is the best way to stay connected the ones we love. You may not be able to be with your larger, extended family this year but there is something about the holiday season that makes many of us want to present our family and friends with tasty treats and stunning meals. This year you’ll want to put together a tray of Spinach Parmesan Crostini to serve and you’ll have everyone reaching for more.

Spinach Parmesan Crostini with Spinach Parmesan Dip
Preparing a batch of Spinach Parmesan Crostini

I’m all about easy appetizer recipes that come together in a short period of time. Most of the time I’m working on more elaborate meals, leaving little time to prepare the appetizers. This appetizer uses only 6 ingredients and can be prepare in under 15 minutes. This will leave more than enough time for you to spend with your family enjoying the holiday season.

This recipe uses Litehouse’s Spinach Parmesan Dip to create a flavorful base for the crostini. Here are some additional easy crostini ideas using other Litehouse veggie dips:

  • Spread Litehouse® French Onion Dip on to toasted baguette slices and top off with Gruyere cheese. Broil in the oven until the tops are golden and top with a sprig of thyme.
  • Spread Litehouse® Avocado Dip on to toasted baguette slices and top with sliced, fresh mozzarella cheese, tomato, basil and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.
  • Spread Litehouse® Dilly Dip on to toasted baguette and top with chopped fresh vegetables, including carrots, broccoli and cauliflower.

Appetizers shouldn’t be difficult; they should be fun to create. Even if you can’t be with your extended family this year, take the time to enjoy those that you can be around and go all out with your celebration this year. There should be no reason not to include delicious meals and easy, flavorful appetizers.
