This delicious salad uses one of our most requested dressings...Fat Free Sesame Ginger. The chicken tenders make a quick and satisfying addition.
Ingredients
- 10 ozBreaded chicken tenders, frozen (or 2 chicken breasts, cooked & sliced)
- 1 lbsGreen Cabbage, head, shredded
- ½ lbsRed Cabbage, head, shredded
- 4 eaCarrots, shredded (about 1 cup)
- 1 bunchRomaine Lettuce, shredded
- 2 ozAlmonds, sliced and toasted
- ¼ cupGreen Onions, sliced
- 1 cupchow mein noodles (garnish)
- ½ - ¾ eaLitehouse® Sesame Ginger
Directions
Cook chicken tenders as package directs. Combine cabbage, carrots and romaine. Toss with Litehouse® dressing. For individual servings:
Divide salad mixture among 4 large bowls. Top with almonds, chicken, green onions and chow mein noodles. Serve immediately with extra dressing, if desired. To toast almonds:
Heat oven to 350 F. Place almonds in single layer in shallow baking pan. Bake 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally until light brown. Cool completely.
