Chocolate Brownie Parfaits Recipe

These decadent treats are the perfect solution to satisfy your chocolate cravings. Layers of homemade brownies, luscious chocolate sauce and sweet chocolate whipped cream make this dessert a fudgy dream. Top with a fresh strawberry for an added touch of sweetness. Perfect to serve for Valentine’s Day or whenever your sweet tooth starts calling.

Ingredients

Brownies

  •  ½ c. butter, softened
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • ½ c. all-purpose flour

Chocolate Whipped Cream

  •  2 c. whipping cream (heavy cream)
  •  ¼ c. cocoa powder
  • ½ c. powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract

To Assemble

  • ½ c. Litehouse® Chocolate Flavored Dip
  • 4 strawberries, for garnish

Directions

Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
  2. Add butter and sugar to a large bowl. Cream with a mixer on medium speed until combined. Add melted chocolate and beat with the mixer until combined. Add in eggs and beat until fully incorporated. Str in flour.
  3. Spread mixture into an 8-inch square baking pan.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center of the brownies. Set aside to cool.
  5. Once cooled, cut into small squares.

Chocolate Whipped Cream

  1. Add whipping cream, cocoa powder, powdered sugar and vanilla extract to a large bowl. Beat with a mixer on medium speed until soft peaks form. Cover and store in the fridge until ready to assemble.

To Assemble

        1. Add a layer of brownie chunks to the bottom of 4 parfait dishes. Top each with 1 tablespoon of Litehouse® Chocolate Flavored Dip.

        2. Top with a layer of chocolate whipped cream.

        3. Add more brownie chunks on top followed by another tablespoon of Litehouse® Chocolate Flavored Dip on each.

        4. Top with more chocolate whipped cream. Garnish with a strawberry.
