Blue Cheese with Date and Olive Tapenade

Serves 8-10

The perfect recipe for all your holiday entertaining needs!


  • 2 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp. High-Quality Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 1/2 tsp. Honey
  • Large Pinch Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 6 large Dried Dates, finely diced
  • 1 tbsp. Capers, rinsed, drained, and finely chopped
  • 1/4 c. Pitted Green and Kalamata Olives
  • 1 tsp. Litehouse® Freeze Dried Thyme
  • 2 Litehouse® Simply Artisan Reserve Blue Cheese Center Cuts
  • Bread and Crackers, for serving


  1. In a small bowl, whisk to combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, combine dates, capers, olives and thyme. Add vinaigrette and toss to combine. Remove half of the mixture and place on a cutting board. Chop until very finely diced then add back to bowl and toss to combine. Season to taste with additional salt and pepper.
  3. Serve at room temperature on top of Simply Artisan Reserve Blue Cheese Wheels with bread and crackers.
