Litehouse expands organic options with new Organic Spoonable Dressing line – traditional, thick and creamy dressings in four classic flavors – now Organic

Litehouse, Inc., a 100 percent employee-owned company and the No. 1 Refrigerated Salad Dressing (RSD) brand in the U.S. and Canada[i], is putting a spin on its classic, creamy dressing flavors with new Litehouse Organic Spoonables. Serving up a delicious organic option for traditional dressing flavors like Ranch and Caesar, Litehouse Organic Spoonable dressings are Certified USDA Organic, Certified Gluten Free and non-GMO.

According to the Organic Trade Association, Americans spend nearly $50 billion on organic products annually, and the organic RSD segment continues to grow at 48 percent[ii], further illustrating the growing consumer demand for organic foods. The new Litehouse line will help make organic even more accessible for consumers across the country.

Unlike many organic dressing options, which are thinner, vinaigrette-style dressings, Litehouse developed more traditional, thick and creamy options – just like those found in the Litehouse core dressing line – but organic! Litehouse Organic Spoonable dressings are available in an 11-ounce glass jar, in four classically-delicious and top-selling flavors:

  • Organic Blue Cheese is made with all organic fresh buttermilk, blue cheese crumbles and the perfect blend of spices
  • Organic Ranch is thick and creamy, with hints of fresh herbs – a classic flavor
  • Organic Caesar is a robust dressing, made with garlic, parmesan, and just the right amount of salty tang
  • Organic Coleslaw is a perfectly sweet and tangy dressing, made extra thick and creamy

The new refrigerated organic dressings are crafted with care by the employee owners of Litehouse, and do not contain artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. Litehouse Organic Spoonable dressings can be found in the refrigerated produce department starting in May 2018 for a suggested retail price of $4.99 to $5.49.
