Simply Artisan Reserve by Litehouse double creme Gorgonzola wins Best of Class at the U.S. Championship Cheese contest

Simply Artisan Reserve Double Crème Gorgonzola was named Best of Class at the 2015 US Championship Cheese Contest. Competing at this year’s prestigious event, Simply Artisan Reserve earned the top score of 98.90 out of 100 for its exceptional gorgonzola cheese. The 2015 United States Championship Cheese Contest was held March 17-19 in Milwaukee.

The United States Championship Cheese Contest is the largest cheese, butter and yogurt competition in the United States with over 90 different contest classes to compete in. This year’s contest set a new record with 1,885 entries from 28 states, making it one of the most competitive competitions in the event’s history.

Aged for 100 days, the new Simply Artisan Double Crème Gorgonzola cheese is made with twice the cream of traditional gorgonzola cheeses and rBST-free milk. This new product will be a seasonal introduction for the brand. Look for it this fall in the deli section of your local grocery store and grab it while you can to experience an award-winning flavor.
