German Chocolate Caramel Cake

Serves 8 | Finish in 1 hour

A delicious decadent dessert for that special occassion!


1 box German Chocolate Cake mix
1 1/4 cups water
1/3 cup Crisco oil
3 eggs
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tub Litehouse® Caramel
1 (8 oz.) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
4 (2.1oz.) chocolate covered peanut butter crisp candy, chopped


Bake cake according to directions. Using handle of spoon (wooden prefered), poke several holes in the cake. In a small bowl, mix the condensed milk and Litehouse® Caramel topping; reserve at least 1/2 cup and set aside. Pour remaining caramel mixture evenly over warm cake. Cool completely. Place whipped topping in a medium bowl. Fold in reserved caramel mixture and spread evenly over the cake. Spinkle with the chopped candy and refrigerate. Keep cool
