Pita Pit®, the fresh-grilled, flavor-filled innovator, announced the addition of a new plant-based protein offering across 170 U.S. locations with the launch of the Beyond Buffalo Ranch pita or salad made with Beyond Beef® Crumbles. The new menu item was developed exclusively by Pita Pit incorporating Beyond Meat®, Frank’s RedHot® and Litehouse® and is packed with 30 grams of plant-based protein.
The addition of Beyond Meat to Pita Pit’s menu grows the restaurant’s existing vegetarian-friendly offerings, provides more variety and addresses the growing demand of consumers who are incorporating plant-based protein into their meals when dining out.
The Beyond Buffalo Ranch pita and salad feature Beyond Beef Crumbles grilled in Frank’s RedHot Buffalo Sauce with avocado, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, green peppers, onions, cilantro, cheddar cheese, mojito lime seasoning and Litehouse Lite Ranch dressing, and is available as a pita wrap or salad. In addition to the new Beyond Buffalo Ranch menu item, customers can substitute the 100% plant-based Beyond Beef Crumbles in any of Pita Pit’s menu offerings.
