Turkey Club Lettuce Wrap with Lite Ranch

Say “buh-bye” to bread and never look back. My Turkey Club Lettuce Wraps with Lite Ranch are a simple-to-make and simply scrumptious way to handle the breakup. The perfect low-carb solution for on-the-go lunches, picnic baskets and those nights when you just don’t want to cook!

Protein-rich slices of deli turkey piled on green lettuce leaves are accented with slices of tomato, bacon crumbles – all the signature elements of a club sandwich, but without the three layers of toasted bread! I like to add avocado for extra yum and satiating healthy fats along with a drizzle or dunk of creamy Lite Ranch Dressing from Litehouse Foods.

In my home, Lite Ranch is not only a dressing, it’s also a dip and dearly beloved condiment. Featuring that same fresh herb and vegetable flavor of famous Homestyle Ranch, but with fewer calories and fat, it’s a smart way to put a creamy exclamation point onto breakfast, lunch and dinner! Lite Ranch on sandwich, wrap or salad is obviously quite nice, but the dressing is versatile enough to pour over an omelet, pair with chicken or steak, sauce up steamed, sautéed or grilled veggies, and more!

Tips for Making Turkey Club Lettuce Wraps:

  • Green leaf, red leaf or Bibb lettuce work best. The leaves on these varieties are large and pliable enough to roll up the fillings. Iceberg and romaine tend to break, however, will suffice if you want to eat your wrap open-faced.
  • When prepping, use a paring knife to cut the tough part of rib out of lettuce leaves for a better experience.
  • Choose thinly sliced turkey over thick slices. The meat “bends” better and won’t pierce the lettuce.
  • Add additional chopped veggies, sprouts, cheese, seeds or other ingredients desired.
  • Take wrap “to-go” by building on the edge of a parchment or wax paper sheet. Roll up snuggly and twist both end of paper to secure
