Homemade Salsa

Directions

Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add the tomatoes and onion and char on all sides, turning occasionally until the tomato skins start to blister. (The tomatoes may take 10+ minutes. The onions will char faster.) Remove from the heat and let cool. Add the tomatoes and onion to a food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Transfer to a bowl and stir in the lime juice, salt, jalapeño, garlic, parsley and chives. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired. Serve with tortilla chips.
