This delicious salad uses one of our most requested dressings...Fat Free Sesame Ginger. The chicken tenders make a quick and satisfying addition.
10 oz. frozen, breaded chicken tenders (or 2 chicken breasts, cooked & sliced)
1 head (about 1 pound) green cabbage, shredded
1/2 head (about 1/2 pound) red cabbage, shredded
4 carrots, shredded (about 1 cup)
1 bunch romaine lettuce, shredded
2 oz. sliced almonds, toasted
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1 cup chow mein noodles (garnish)
1/2-3/4 bottle Litehouse® Sesame Ginger
Cook chicken tenders as package directs. Combine cabbage, carrots and romaine. Toss with Litehouse® dressing. For individual servings: Divide salad mixture among 4 large bowls. Top with almonds, chicken, green onions and chow mein noodles. Serve immediately with extra dressing, if desired. Note: To toast almonds: Heat oven to 350 F. Place almonds in single layer in shallow baking pan. Bake 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally until light brown. Cool completely.
