Adding topping to Brownie Trifle
Just served Brownie Trifle

Divert your eyes if you’re on a diet! The rest of you hold on to your forks and spoons, this Brownie Trifle will knock your socks off!

What better way to share the love than preparing a show stopper of a dessert for Valentine’s Day! This Brownie Trifle has layers of homemade strawberry sauce, fresh strawberries, decadent brownie pieces and two different flavors of whipped cream. I chose the Litehouse® Chocolate Dip for one delicious layer. The dip doubles as a stabilizer for the whipped cream. Regular whipped cream will turn into a runny mess in a hurry. This is the same chocolate dip you’ll find me and the kids dipping our bananas and strawberries in. We are huge fans! The other whipped cream layer in the trifle a is perfectly paired vanilla. Classic flavors pulled together in a crowd feeding dessert!

There is nothing overly complicated about this brownie trifle but you’ll want to give yourself a head start and prepare the brownies and strawberry sauce the night before you assemble the trifle. All layers should be cooled completely. To speed up the process no one will judge if you quickly run to the store and buy a fully prepared slab of brownie. I could see myself doing the same next time and possibly using a cherry pie filling for the bottom layer. The best thing about a trifle is the options are endless! We gave some trifle away and kept the rest for ourselves for a completely indulgent weekend. I recommend consuming the trifle within two days of assembly.
