This delicious no-yeast, quick bread takes advantage of freeze-dried herbs for year-round convenience (or for those of us without a green thumb). Pair with a side salad and serving of lean protein for a simple yet super-yummy supper.
2 cups all-purpose flour,
2 tsp baking powder,
1 tsp table salt,
1 cup water,
1 Tbsp olive oil,
¼ cup shredded parmesan,
1 tsp coarse sea salt,
1 tsp Litehouse® Instantly Fresh Garlic,
2 tsp Litehouse® Instantly Fresh Italian Herb Blend
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan. Sift together flour, baking powder, and table salt into large bowl; add to the water. With spatula, stir until dough it is well-combined. If needed, turn dough out onto floured surface and knead until it forms a cohesive ball. Plop dough into greased baking pan. Using oiled spatula, spread dough down to 1/2-inch thickness, ensuring there are holes. Rub the top and sides of dough with olive oil. Sprinkle parmesan cheese even over the top. Season with sea salt, Instantly Fresh Garlic and Instantly Fresh Italian Herb Blend. Bake in preheated oven for approximately 20 - 22 minutes, or until turning golden brown. Cut into 12 rectangles for serving (2 pieces per serving).
