Honor and enjoy the fruits of fall with a mix of apples, pears, and fennel plus Litehouse’s Poppy Seed Dressing. The ingredients for this Fall Fruit and Fennel salad can be varied to accommodate seasonal fruits and vegetables.
2 Gala apples,
1 Honey Crisp apple,
1 StarKrimson pear,
1 Bartlett pear,
1 Asian pear,
1 small fennel bulb,
½ cup Litehouse Poppy Seed Dressing,
A few fennel fronds (for garnish),
1. Slice the apples and pears into chunks. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fruit to retard browning.
2. Remove the outer layer of the fennel and slice into sticks or crescents.
3. Mix fruit with the Litehouse Poppy Seed Dressing and add a few fennel fronds for garnish.
