Basil-Lime Fruit Kabobs

Serves 10-12 | Finish in 30 minutes

Fruit on kabobs is a fun party dish that looks beautiful and is super easy. Drizzle this lime and basil sweet syrup over the top and you’ve got a recipe everyone will be asking for!


  • 3 c. Diced Watermelon
  • 1 Small Pineapple (about 3 c. diced)
  • 1 pt. Blueberries
  • 3 c. Grapes
  • 16 oz. Strawberries, stems trimmed
  • 2 c. Diced Melon
  • 2 tbsp. Lime Juice
  • 1 tsp. Lime Zest
  • 1 tsp. Litehouse® Freeze Dried Basil
  • ½ c. Water
  • ½ c. Sugar
  • 12-16 Skewers


  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the water and sugar. Bring to a boil and let the mixture boil for one minute. Remove from heat and add the basil, lime juice and zest. Stir.
  2. Place the syrup in an airtight container and let sit in the fridge until cool, about 30 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, Skewer the diced fruits on the kabobs, alternating to include a few pieces of each fruit until all the fruit is on the kabobs.
  4. Drizzle the lime-basil syrup over the kabobs and enjoy!
