When I go to a restaurant, one of the appetizers I typically order is nachos. There is just something about a crispy chip with loads of crunch, flavourful sauce and loads upon loads of cheese and delicious savoury toppings. So so good!

I was inspired by the new Litehouse® Sesame Miso Dressing & Dip to create my own version of one of the best appetizers ever, but with an Asian spin. I enjoyed these Asian Chicken Nachos even more than the nachos I get from my favourite restaurant!

When the holiday season arrives, I find myself gravitating to all things red, green and blue. And by blue, I mean getting my hands on all blue cheese appetizers that I can! It never fails that during the holiday season I seem to have friends and family stopping by with little notice and I find myself scrambling for a last-minute bite to serve. I like to have a stock of appetizer ingredients on hand during the holiday season and always have blue cheese on hand to make my favorite Cranberry Blue Cheese Bites.

While the holiday season may look a little different this year, smaller gatherings with family still call for delicious food. Afterall, eating together is the best way to stay connected the ones we love. You may not be able to be with your larger, extended family this year but there is something about the holiday season that makes many of us want to present our family and friends with tasty treats and stunning meals.
