Start Your Summer with Chicken Bacon Ranch Salad

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times that there is nothing that I love more than a salad dancing with toppings! I love to experiment with different toppings but one of the combinations that I always go back to is a mixture of bacon, chicken and avocado. I decided to whip up a salad over the weekend for dinner and crafted this delicious Chicken Bacon Ranch Salad.

I was never a ranch dressing fan growing up and even as a grownup I never really cared for it until I discovered the Homestyle Ranch dressing from Litehouse. I think that all along I was just eating the wrong ranch dressing because now I’m obsessed with this dressing that is packed with fresh herb and vegetable flavors. I love to sneak a dip of it here and there when fresh vegetables are around!

Chicken Bacon Ranch Salad Ingredients & prep

I started my salad with a base of 5-Lettuce Blend from Fresh Express and beautiful little red and yellow tomatoes from NatureSweet Tomatoes. Layering on freshly grilled chicken breast, crispy bacon bits and diced avocado before topping it off with tasty Homestyle Ranch dressing really brought all of the flavors together of this delicious salad.

Chicken Bacon Ranch Salad

The flavors of grilled chicken, crispy bacon and fresh avocado all come together to form this delicious salad perfect for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

1 6-ounce bag Fresh Express® 5-Lettuce Mix

1 cup grilled or rotisserie chicken, shredded

1 cup NatureSweet® Cherubs™ and Sunburst tomatoes

½ cup cucumber slices

1 medium ripe avocado

1/3 cup bacon pieces

Litehouse Homestyle Ranch dressing

Directions

Divide the salad, tomatoes, cucumbers, bacon and chicken evenly between two bowls.

Carefully cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Peel away the skin and dice the avocado into cubes. Divide the avocado between the two bowls.

Drizzle the salads with ranch dressing and serve immediately.
