Litehouse is Joining Forces with the Chef Ann Foundation to put Healthier Dressings into Schools

Litehouse has some exciting news! We are joining forces with the Chef Ann Foundation to put healthier dressings into schools nationwide. As families making food for families, our mission is to help get healthy vegetables into the mouths of children.

Schools have made great strides in healthy eating options for kids, with many now offering salad bars, but often the salad dressings are loaded with fat and preservatives. To create an improved ranch dressing, the number one flavor sold in schools, Litehouse and Chef Ann crafted a New Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing that has no MSG, no high fructose corn syrup and no preservatives. The ranch is Gluten-Free Certified (GFCO) and has only 60 calories per two tablespoon serving and zero sugar. Because it is yogurt-based, the dressing offers full flavor without the fat and with 2 grams of protein per serving. The best part is that kids love it!

Added bonus? Litehouse will be donating 1% of sales of the product to the Chef Ann Foundation whose mission is to provide healthier lunch options in schools for your children.

Unfortunately, we can’t fight this battle alone. As parents, we are asking you to advocate for your children and help us grow awareness. Talk to your school about healthy options and post on your social media platforms a photo of yourself holding the hashtag #RealSchoolFood and it will result in a $1 donation to help develop healthy school food recipes. This #RealSchoolFood campaign by the Chef Ann Foundation is designed to help combat childhood obesity by making sure that children are offered healthy, well balanced and nutritional meals at school.
