Buffalo Chicken Pull-Apart Bread Recipe

I feel like I blinked and all of a sudden, we were at the end of football season, gearing up for the big game in Tampa Bay. Now that I realized the big game is right around the corner it’s time to start planning for my snack spread with all things chips, dips, buffalo and wings. This year my new creation is Buffalo Chicken Pull-Apart Bread, complete with spicy buffalo sauce, blue cheese and creamy Litehouse® Homestyle Ranch dressing.

First things first, the star of this recipe is the rotisserie chicken tossed in buffalo sauce. Using rotisserie chicken makes this snack come together in a snap, as there is minimal prep and cooking involved. I also picked up a premixed buffalo sauce to speed things up. The key to easily creating your pull-apart bread is to choose a sourdough loaf that isn’t too large or tall. It will make it more difficult to tuck the chicken and cheese mixture inside of the cuts.

Make sure that your cream cheese is at room temperature so that it easily blends with the buffalo sauce. I like to use a mixture of Litehouse Simply Artisan Blue Cheese Crumbles and Monterey jack cheese for a creamy finish. Don’t be afraid to spread the bread apart to get the cheese mixture deep inside of the cuts. Things might get a little messy, but I promise that it’s worth it in the end!

You’ll want to serve this right out of the oven with sides of Homestyle Ranch dressing, Chunky Blue Cheese, extra buffalo sauce and carrots and celery. Your friends and family will be thankful you ditched the actual chicken wings this year and replaced them with a fun appetizer packed with flavor!

Buffalo Chicken Pull-Apart Bread with Ranch Recipe

Serves 6-8 | Finish in 30 minutes

This bread is loaded with spicy buffalo sauce, tender chicken, cream cheese and classic Homestyle Ranch dressing.

  • 1 medium Sourdough Bread Loaf
  • 2 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/4 c. Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. Freeze Dried Chives
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 6 oz. Cream Cheese, at room temperature
  • 1/4 c. Litehouse Homestyle Ranch dressing
  • 1/2 c. Buffalo sauce, plus more for serving
  • 1 1/2 c. Shredded Rotisserie Chicken
  • 1 1/2 c. Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
  • 1/2 c. Litehouse Blue Cheese Crumbles
  • Celery, carrots, additional ranch dressing for serving

  1. Preheat the oven to 375° F. Slice the bread horizontally and vertically to create 1-inch cubes, being careful not to actually slice all the way through the bread. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, parsley, and chives. Rub the inside of the bread with the olive oil mix.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, ranch dressing, and buffalo sauce until combined. Stir in the chicken, half of the Monterey jack cheese, and blue cheese. Carefully separate the cuts in the bread and stuff the filling inside. Add additional buffalo sauce to the top of the bread, if desired, and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  4. Transfer to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the filling is warmed throughout. Serve immediately with extra dressing, buffalo sauce, carrots and celery.
