As the temperature drops, we spend more time around the dinner table with loved ones! Thanksgiving dinner is a great time to gather with friends and family and remember everything we’re grateful for.
But it wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without a delicious spread of recipes that make meals with options for everyone around the table. That’s why we decided to come up with a variety of Turkey Day recipe ideas for even the pickiest of eaters.
Friends and family often arrive several hours before the actual dinner, so it’s important to have easy but tasty snacks and appetizers out for your guests while you continue to prepare the main course.
With so many people following low-carb or keto diets, we decided to make a keto-friendly appetizer recipe that is full of flavor and can be enjoyed by all.
For side dishes, it’s important to have variety. We especially love these Sesame Ginger Roasted Carrots with Gorgonzola Cheese because it’s an out-of-the-box side recipe that still goes well with all the other dishes.
And what would Thanksgiving be without potato sides? We added a twist to a classic recipe when we made our Ranch Mashed Potatoes with Chives, replacing traditional sour cream with our Homestyle Ranch, which gives a great burst of herb and vegetable flavors.
And don’t forget that munching on a cheese platter is an excellent way to pass time while dinner is cooking.
For our Thanksgiving turkey recipe, we decided to keep seasonings simple. We brined the turkey 24 hours ahead of time, and rubbed it with herb butter made from salted butter and Litehouse Herbs. Tip: Rub the butter under the skin for extra crispy skin!
Even after everyone has eaten (and gotten seconds…and maybe thirds…), there’s always room for dessert! Stun your guests with this incredibly easy Apple Rose Petal Pie. The presentation is impressive with its beautiful aesthetic, and with a drizzle of caramel and a dollop of whipped cream, it’s sure to hit the spot.
