Layered Wedge Salad

One of my favorite salads to order at a restaurant is a wedge salad. There's just something so delicious about the light and crisp iceberg lettuce with the salty blue cheese. Even though the wedge is one of my favorite salads, I have never made it at home or brought it to a potluck until now. A traditional wedge salad isn’t the best for potlucks, because it doesn’t travel well and it can be hard to eat because you need a knife and fork. It’s all about quality + convenience, right?

If you turn this steakhouse classic into a Layered Wedge Salad in A Pan it becomes a game-changer! It has all of the same ingredients and flavors of a classic wedge salad, but it is created for easy traveling and eating. Crispy bacon, sweet corn and cherry tomatoes with Litehouse® Blue Cheese Crumbles and Organic Blue Cheese dressing make this salad burst with flavor! Add Litehouse® Freeze Dried Herbs to elevate any salad. Keeping these herbs on hand saves time and money (you know what I mean, throwing fresh herbs away because a recipe only calls for a small amount!) Use pre-washed and cut lettuce for convenience and you’ll be having steakhouse-quality “wedge” salads all the time!

Litehouse has an extensive line of quality dressings and they are always expanding and creating new flavors according to customer demands, but also perfecting those classic flavors like blue cheese. Coming soon to a store near you is an Organic Litehouse® dressing and dip line in the classic flavors: Blue Cheese, Ranch, Caesar and Coleslaw.

This Organic Blue Cheese dressing is a spin on Litehouse's orginal Blue Cheese dressing, now organic! Made with organic fresh buttermilk and delicious blue cheese crumbles, this new Organic Blue Cheese is sure to please!  Great taste with no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives and it is gluten-free!
