Enjoy New Year's Diet with Sesame Ginger Bok Choy Salad

All December long you’ve been spoiling your taste buds, then January comes and you hop onto the New Year’s Diet band wagon! Your poor unsuspecting taste buds are suddenly depraved of flavor and fun as you attempt to shave off the holiday pounds with plain chicken breast and steamed veggies. Maybe you simply drop the calories by skipping meals, even worse than bland food. How long does that trend usually last for you? Three to four days? Do you get a week at best before you are cranky and out of your mind with the need for a full and satisfied belly? Surely there must be a solution out there that doesn’t include bland food and self-deprivation.

This New Year’s let Litehouse be your helping hand when preparing “diet” foods that won’t taste like diet food. This is the real trick to lasting diets. Satisfy your mouth, eyes, nose, and mind. Let Litehouse take care of pleasing the palette with their fragrant, flavorful, and insanely low calorie Sesame Ginger Dressing

Colorful Veggies
Hire on an array of colorful, fun, and new vegetables to please the eyes and get your mind excited to eat healthy as can be meals. Go hog wild in the produce section, fill your grocery cart with all the colors of the rainbow! Not only does the waistline need these low calorie ingredients but more than likely your organs, skin, and hair will appreciate the boost of nutrients you provide when eating a meal full of colorful fresh vegetables. Let’s face it; the holidays can be quite torturous on the body.

Not only will the veggies give your body a much needed treatment of goodness and love but you get to eat a ton of them! Fill your plate, no deprivation here! Not this year! Along with plenty of good and nutritious foods a successful New Year’s diet requires plenty of fluids, in the form of water. The excess sugar, salt, and alcohol often found on the holiday buffet causes major bloating. Drinking up to one gallon a day can whisk away all of those toxins allowing your body to release the water weight. That’s right, drink more water to lose more water. You can see a few pounds of bloating disappear in just a few days with consistent fluid intake. Proper hydration also acts as a natural energizer, mood stabilizer, and craving controller! Drink up folks!
