Caramel Apple Cream Puffs Recipe

One of the things that I enjoy most about the summer is that it seems like people get together for parties more often. Then fall hits and it seems like everyone wants to stay indoors, cuddled up on their couch with a blanket and movies. Since I’m a huge fan of hosting people at my home, I always like to throw a party in the fall as a way to get my friends out of their homes and into mine for some good conversation and treats.
Fall is a great time for apple treats, comfort foods and pumpkin desserts. When I’m planning for my fall party I keep all of these flavors in mind while preparing my menu. But before you get too frazzled about hosting a fall party in your own home, here are a few tips that I have to make sure that everyone, including yourself, enjoys the party. 1.First start by choosing a theme for your party. Maybe you’re going to host a wine and cheese party or maybe you prefer that everyone should bring a slow cooker meal to share. Whatever the theme may be you will want to choose this right away so that you can prepare the rest of the party properly. 2. Next, make your guest list. Is this going to be a party for your friends or family? Or both! 3.Based on your theme, choose a menu for your party. Will you be serving simple appetizers or will this be a full sit-down dinner? 4.Since we are talking about an adult party here, let’s touch on cocktails. Will you be serving cocktails? Think about what your guests might enjoy and if you are serving cocktails, be sure to have an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages as well. 5.Decide if you are going to decorate for your party and make a list of goods that you may need to pick up to accomplish this. I like to craft centerpieces with fresh fall vegetables such as pumpkins and squash and incorporate accent colors to really complete the look. Stay calm because hosting a party doesn’t have to be a stressful task. Parties are meant to be fun events where people (including yourself) can enjoy themselves! I have a fall party coming up so I decided to stick with a theme of finger foods. My inspiration for these Caramel Apple Cream Puffs come from the famous Wisconsin State Fair where cream puffs are an absolute staple. I added the apples, cinnamon and caramel for a fall twist and made them miniature so that they are easier to eat. Enjoy!
