Litehouse Simply Artisan Reserve achieves highest industry standard of sqf level 3 certification

Litehouse Foods, the industry leader in premium refrigerated salad dressings, cheese, dips and herbs, is proud to announce that it received The Safe Quality Food (SQF) Level 3 certification for its Simply Artisan Reserve manufacturing plant. This is the industry’s highest and most rigorous safety achievement.

Litehouse Foods is dedicated to providing its consumers with the highest quality food made with artisanal care in facilities that The Safe Quality Food Institude (SQFI) recognizes as promoting the most stringent safety standards. The SQFI is recognized by retailers and foodservice providers around the world and by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), which require a rigorous, credible food safety management system and link primary production certification to food manufacturing, distribution and agent/broker management certification. The SQF Level 3 certification is the highest GFSI certification, requiring more comprehensive documentation of safety and quality management in addition to level 2 certification criteria.

Aged for 100 days with rBST free milk, the Simply Artisan Blue Cheese is crafted, flipped, and salted by hand. Master cheesemaker, Marvin Sharp, has been making cheese this way for over 40 years.
